This e-book serves as a stepping stone for your behavioral research, providing background information and references per topic. We also included protocol suggestions for many behavioral tests, which can help you in finding the right solution for you.

This e-book consists of:

1. Housing & husbandry
2. Exploration & locomotion
3. Anxiety & fear
4. Depression
5. Cognition & memory
6. Home cage

Use this e-book to gain information on specific behavioral research topics, and how these are studied in the current scientific field; we go through the theory behind specific behavioral paradigms, and why/how we test these. This is followed by suggested protocols and mazes. For example: What is Anxiety? Why do we test it? How can you test it?
